FEHVA 2009 coordinator Lisa O Meara
After 5 years at the helm of FEHVA, Dee Tipping is stepping aside as founding coordinator of the festival. The new FEHVA coordinator is Lisa O’Meara. Ms Tipping will be taking on a new challenge as The Buttery Development manager.
Ms Tipping said " I will be working with Lisa on the FEHVA 2009 event during this year of transition while focussing on other directions to open up new fundraising opportunities for The Buttery."
"The Buttery fundraising thru the arts program has been developing over the past 5 years and during this time has presented a wonderful range of visual arts and music events thanks to the generosity of many artists and performers.' said Ms Tipping. 'FEHVA 2008 hosted an impressive line up of arts events including top Australian visual arts practitioners, Buttery Patron and acclaimed international pianist David Helfgott, musicians Dog Trumpet and a series of Flickerfest animated films.”
“After FEHVA 2008 The Buttery fundraising office embarked on the home run to finish producing the Buttery Fundraising CD which had been in pre production for over a year. Conceived by Hoodoo Gurus bass guitarist Rick Grossman and SONYBMG in conjunction with The Buttery it came together with the terrific support of the Australian Music industry. Released in November 2008 and titled 'Caution Life Ahead' the front cover image was donated by Reg Mombassa who was a guest of the FEHVA 2008 program. The project was highlighted in the last ABC Australian Story on November 10 2008 '. Ms Tipping continued ' The Buttery fundraising thru the arts program has been a tremendous way to raise funds and profile an organisation like The Buttery through the enjoyment and celebration of the visual and performing arts.'
FEHVA looks forward to your valued support in 2009.
