Thurs May 29 at the A and I Hall Bangalow.
tickets: $100pp includes champagne on arrival, canapes, gourmet dinner platters, wine and desert.
5.45pm- the red carpet will be rolled out for guests to enter the exhibition hall to view the artwork before bidding and mingle with a glass of champagne and canapes.
7.00pm - move into the main hall where you will be seated to enjoy food and wine.
7.15pm- The Buttery choir will perform
7.30pm- A bit about The Buttery- Rick Grossman
7.35pm -Reg Mombassa and Peter O'Doherty will do a short acoustic set
7.50pm -announcing the Urban Portrait Prize and The Ken Johnson Portrait Prize
7.55pm- Colin Heaney art kaftans on stage pre-empt ......

8.00pm - Auctioneer Robert Bleakley will commence the FEHVA 2008 art auction. You will have the opportunity to bid for art, non art auction items and a ' Gift of Recovery' donation which is Tax Deductible.
Aside from a glorious array of art and artifacts FENDER Australia will be donating a guitar for auction RRP$ 2,500.

Last year the FEHVA 2007 art auction sold over $70,000 worth of artwork. The event raised $50,000 nett for The New Buttery project which included artwork sales (after 50% of the sale price was returned to the artist) and donations.

This year artwork from the first selection process will be available for viewing on the gallery page from April 15.
The final selection of artwork will be up for viewing at the FEHVA opening night on Monday May 26 at the A and I Hall.
There will also be up to 10 artworks hung from the finalists of the Young Artists Award sponsored by Southern Cross University.
