FEHVA People's Choice - Voting Results

With voting spread evenly across a wide range of artworks and over 500 votes cast in total, we are please to announced the top three artworks from the people's choice votes:

First Place
Peta Laurisen - 'Deidra'

Second Place
Richard Jones - 'Maxime Idoneus'

Third Place
Evan Bowling - 'Ainsworth Still'

Many thanks to all artists and art buyers who have supported the event over the past 5 years - we look forward to you joining us again this year and, of course, we welcome all new artists and art buyers.

Works from this gallery will be selected for hanging in the FEHVA Art Exhibition. Join us on Monday 25 May from 6pm onwards for a fantastic Celebration of Art on our Opening & Awards Night to view the final exhibition and hear the announcement of all the art prize winners.

And, of course, our gala event will be the FEHVA Art Auction & Banquet on Thursday 28 May with a selection of the premium artworks put under the hammer of Robert Bleakley, founder of Sotherby's Australia.

The Buttery Recovery Choir, who made their debut performance at the East Coast Bluesfest, will help us celebrate the opening in concert with YESHE and guests. The Choir will return to perform alongside The Buttery Residents Choir at the FEHVA Art Auction & Banquet.

Popular Choice voting slips are $2 proceeds to The Buttery.

Regrettably, with only limited hanging space to adequately exhibit all artworks for best appreciation, some selected artworks will not be hung initially. We are immensley grateful to artists for their support and respect their work and contribution. We hope that we will be able to replace artworks as they sell and we will in any event maintain all pre-selected artworks for viewing on this website and for purchase through the FEHVA office on 02 6687 1623 until 31 July 2009.
