Speaker: Kathy Cleland
Kathy Cleland is a curator, writer and lecturer specialising in new media art and digital culture. Kathy will talk about the process of curating new media art exhibitions, looking at different ways artists use digital technologies and how audiences experience and interact with new media art in the gallery. Includes powerpoint and 10 minute Q and A

Speaker: Djon Mundine introduced by
Frances Belle Parker, Indigenous Arts Development Officer
Djon is a member of Bundjalung people of northern NSW. He has an extended career as a curator, activist, writer, and occasional artist and is renowned as the concept curator for the Aboriginal memorial installation, permanently exhibited at the National Gallery of Australia. Djon's presentaton will focus on two recent exhibitions that he curated: ‘More than my Skin’ and ‘A Personal History of Aboriginal Art in the Premier State’. He will discuss curatorial practice and how these exhibitions came about. Includes powerpoint and 10 minute Q and A
