Elizabeth Hawkins

ARTIST STATEMENT

Elizabeth Hawkins was born in Queensland in 1980 and moved to northern New South Wales in 1998 where she completed a Doctorate in Marine Mammals. She has been practicing art for over ten years. Her work explores the beauty of the natural environment and the relationship between humans and the earth. She works in a variety of media from pastels and watercolour to ink, acrylics and photography. Elizabeth has completed short courses in colour, design fundamentals, studio drawing and photography at TAFE, ACE and Southern Cross University.

Elizabeth has exhibited at The Channon Teahouse.
She has pieces in private and public collections in Queensland and New South Wales.
