ARTIST STATEMENT

"My work is derived from imagination spontaneity and joy. I like to incorporate mythology, abstract and the fragile nature of the spirit gathered from my childhood and adult experiences, living in rural areas. I feel like my work honours the lost spirit of nature and our planet.

Lei Lei Joy is a Northern rivers artist, and has studied painting at TAFE in Brisbane and Sculpture at Southern Cross University in Lismore. Lei Lei has successfully exhibited locally as well as in Brisbane. Since 2004 Lei Lei has been exhibiting her art work through the Art piece Gallery in Mullumbimby and for the last 3 years with FEHVA
