ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been fascinated for quite awhile about how everyday objects and crafts influence my creative experience. By combining these items with porcelain slip I am able to create objects which are unique in appearance while still retaining the memory of their former self. At the same time they record glimpses of our contemporary selves.
