ARTIST STATEMENT

I am largely a self taught visual artist whose creative endeavors have allowed me to work in many areas of the arts, and have taught me about working in many disciplines. I began my professional life in the performing arts, working as a choreographer and dancer, and have had extensive experience in graphic design and illustration work, Within my arts practice I am interested in the connection between the creative process and the lived experience, where one influences and informs the other.

It is my belief that change brings art and art brings change, and so for me the two are inextricably linked.
