ARTIST STATEMENT

This painting represents my energetic self and how I see and use colours in nature to reflect my strength and honesty.
I love strong colours and imagery that suggests more.
Bright colours are strong colours and the dominant theme of my work is “light” and the energetic messages they contain.

My work is often layered and free of paintbrushes.

I noticed the brilliant colours and patterns held in a tiny leaf one day.
