You can see the final selection of works for exhibition and sale at the
FEHVA opening exhibtion and concert on Monday May 26 or attend the FEHVA 2008 Art Auction and Banquet, Thursday May 29, A & I Hall.
Final selection of artwork will be eligible for
the Elders Bangalow art prize of $1,000.

All pre-selected artworks will be featured in the FEHVA website gallery. Please refer to this section closer to the date for any changes to this information.

Delivery of pre-selected works directly to Bangalow A & I Hall.
May 21
Final selection for hanging will be made by Robert Bleakley and two guest curators (to be announced). This selection process will also choose which artworks will be put up for auction and which artworks will be for sale.
All hung artworks will be eligible for the Elders Bangalow 2008 art prize valued at $1,000

Popular Choice Award
The exhibition will continue until the end of FEHVA a tally of popular choice votes will be done and the winner announced in local media within 10 days.
Sales of artwork post FEHVA
The FEHVA website will remain up featuring artwork information including price artwork sold for and number of popular choice award votes received.
Buyers can purchase any unsold works after the art auction and close of the exhibition thru the FEHVA website until 30 June.
The FEHVA art auction and sale continues to support The Buttery fundraising thru the Arts program and as such 50% of the sales price is returned to the artist and 50% to The Buttery to assist in the development and construction of The New Buttery - a Centre of Excellence in recovery from addiction.

In order to submit artwork we require a jpeg image of artwork/s and details sent to fundraising@buttery.org.au from you by 15 April 2008. Please send ONE email per artwork.

10/ Sales Price (RRP$) remembering that 50% of the sale price is returned to The Buttery fundraising thru the arts project
11/ Reserve price (MIN$) - that is the least amount you would be prepared to sell the artwork for given you will receive 50% of this sale price.
12/ Commission option - either 50% Artist/50% The Buttery or 100% The Buttery
13/ Updated CV and artist statement of no more than 100 words.
14/Artists agree that selected artworks may also be used in media, pr and FEHVA art cards to help promote the event and be sold during the year to raise money for FEHVA as well as keep promotion of the event ongoing. Artists can purchase art cards at cost price.
15/Although we will endeavour to hang all selected work for The FEHVA art auction and sale the mix of work will decide the final hang which will take place from 22 to 25 May. However all selected work not hung will remain on the FEHVA website until 30 June. The Buttery/FEHVA reserves the right to make any decisions pertaining to artwork hung.
16/To assist us to promote your work successfully- please note an artist's submission will not be accepted unless all information listed above and jpeg image is sent .The jpeg images must be titled and accurately cropped - uncropped images or poor images will not be accepted as images need to be good quality for website display and promotional purposes.
